And Suddenly A Miracle…

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

And suddenly a miracle manifested! A miracle is an extraordinary event or divine fulfillment of spiritual law. The manifestation of miracles is perceived through our senses. Normally from the sense of sight. “BUT!” Did you know miracles manifest through all our senses?  This can seem hard to believe. Mental visualization produces physical manifestation of miracles. Whatever you paint a picture of in your mind, end results will produces evidence in your life. Miracles are produced from great expectation. What mental images are you creating to produce your miracle?

There are many miracles throughout the Bible. Abraham was instructed to sacrifice his son. He envisioned a miracle. God raised his son from the dead. Many people think miracles are only for biblical times. Guess what? Miracles still exist today!

This blog is about anticipating a move of God through our senses. In addition to sight, you can hear, smell, taste, or even touch a miracle.

Ministry Moment:

The Miracle of Rain: (1 Kings 17:1, 18:43- 44)

First, Prophet Elijah makes an announcement. No rain for a few years.

Second, After time passed. Elijah tells King Ahab to eat and drink cause of what he heard.

Third, Elijah instructs his servant to look for rain.

Elijah servant gave the final 7th report. He saw a cloud the size of a man’s hand. This small cloud immediately produced hope and gave assurance. Rain was on the way. The moral of the story: God used Elijah to manifest a miracle. Men normally can’t speak to rain. Telling it to stop and it obeys. God intervened to fulfill his divine will on earth.

More Insight on the Miracle of Rain…

Can you imagine the potential doubt in the servant’s heart? 🤔 Returning to Elijah multiple times without a favorable response. I am using my sanctified imagination to say… Elijah was believing in “And Suddenly Miracle.” Elijah responded like the miracle already manifested. Cause it actually did spiritually. Elijah sent his servant multiple times. Waiting on the manifestation (naturally) of what he knew God said. Elijah took God at His word.

God speaking is a miracle

within itself!

Reality -Vs- What God Said

Man Can’t Control the Weather  Elijah spoke, the rain stopped
No Rain  Elijah heard a sound of abundance of rain
6 reports of No Rain 7th Report, a rain cloud appeared
You fill in the blank here…  You fill in the blank here…
Fill in…
Fill in…

Have you ever anticipated a move from God? Trying to predict future patterns, based on prior performance. Have you ever waited to see a manifestation of God’s spoken word? Hindsight revealed, He answered your prayers in a different way. God’s Word does not change. Jesus Christ is the same today, yesterday, and forever more (Hebrews 13:8). Don’t always expect God to move in the exact same format.

God’s Message “Salvation & Freedom in Christ” is the same! However, God uses unconventional Methods all the time to perform Miracles.

Words of Encouragement:

Covid-19 has changed our lives. Affecting us mentally, socially, and even economically. Don’t make permanent decisions based on temporary circumstances. Rebuke your fears by trusting in God.

Your natural eyes can’t always be trusted, but you can always trust God’s Word.

Shameka Mccoy

Begin each day by speaking God’s Word. Pay attention to your senses, as your words activate and come into alignment.

How to use your senses to activate the Word of God:

  1. Vision Properly. Focus your thoughts on the Word of God. Visualize the words you read becoming alive in your life.
  2. Listen More. Listening involves paying attention and being alert. Open your ears to hear wisdom from the Holy Spirit.
  3. Testify of Goodness. Oh taste and see that the Lord is good. Taste means to become acquainted with by experience. Taste goodness by trusting in God. Testifying provides evidence of our faith. Faith is the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).
  4. Write the word involves using our hands (Habakuk 2:2-3).

Conclusion

Life has a way of birthing promise through pain. Perhaps you felt lost and considered giving up. Be encouraged by the cloud of hope! Elijah’s servant saw. He was obedient and consistent. Until, a tiny seed produced a cloud. The cloud represents our faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen.

When tiny seeds are hard to see. Use your other senses. You can touch, taste, smell, and even hear miracle seeds. Right when you almost gave up. Then came a sound from heaven. As of a rushing mighty wind. It filled your house. Right where you are sitting. Can you sense it, see it, and feel it?

It is “And SUDDENLY MIRACLE!”

Wow such beauty’s encouragement during such stressful times as these. I was just reading about Jermiah and the potter and the clay. I believe it’s a beautiful thing when we are waiting and trusting with an expecting heart. Thank you for these ministry movements. Love these.

    1. Thank you for the reminder of the manifested miracle(s) from Heaven. Ironically it has rained the last two days here nonstop consecutively and I literally rebuked the rain this morning till God convicted my heart and I reversed the “curse” in prayer.

This blog was confirmation read at the right time that the very thing I was cursing. Someone had once prayed for! Thank you Lord for the revelation received.

      God Bless

  2. Tarlease,

You welcome. As I reviewed Jeremiah, I am reminded the clay pot is shaped/ molded by the Potter. Since we are the clay and God is the Potter, surrendering our will to His takes patience and trust as well. This is the same formula for miracles… waiting, trusting, and expecting heart.

Beautiful. Even when you can’t see it… believe it! God uses earthly hands to fulfill heavens plans when we allow our faith in Him to water and grow that which he’s given us charge over.

    1. Marcelle,

Thank you. My prayer is my tongue (this blog) is the pen of a ready writer (Psalm 45:1). Love how you summarized the core message of this blog. Believing by allowing God’s Plan to be fulfilled through us.

      XOXO,
