The alpha journey is a series of my real life experiences taken from my journey to a life of freedom through entrepreneurship. Though we sell the idea of freedom, we’ve all come to learn that freedom isn’t free. There is a cost each person has to pay to obtain it. Sacrifices have to continuously be made once you realize there is a greater cause other than self.

One of the main goals within a McCoy Marketing Solutions (MMS) client relationship is to inspire and develop leaders so they become the best marketers possible. While coaching entrepreneurs, our vision is to impact their personal brand by “Building reputations by relationship and networking design” together.

To begin the journey, MMS begins with a series of questions. Some you may have an answer for others you may need to ponder.

• How do you become an entrepreneur?
• What is the right path to take?
• Am I too old to start?(Ask Cornel Harland Sanders. He earned $23 billion in revenue in 2013.)
• Should I quit my job immediately?(The answer is different for different people, but generally the answer is no.)

While these questions are important the most important question when thinking about entrepreneurship is “What are you passionate about?”

The McCoy Marketing Solution team has a strong passion for investing in people. Through every encounter whether an initial consult or a long-term relationship, we are investing in people. It has never been our goal to simply be a marketing firm. Instead we empower business professionals to impact the community through a strong and structured marketing foundation while maximizing a sustainable competitive advantage in their industry. This is how we find true freedom. We incorporate our passion.

Apple founder Steve Jobs once said, “You have to have a lot of passion for what you do.” It’s true. Obviously we want our businesses to garner a great return financially, but if that’s all we strive for we will lose our drive and miss the great opportunities to impact the world around us as business owners.
